The pH enhanced Filter removes all the contaminants listed under the Regular filter. This new filter incorporates proprietary medias and enhances the alkalinity (pH) of drinking water sources to between 8.0 and 9.5 pH. Results may vary, depending on your water source. Since it is more open in porosity, it does not remove giardia, cryptosporidium, virus, or bacteria. It is designed as a bottled water replacement and for those who value the benefits of alkaline filtered water. The pH Enhanced Filter is for use with any treated municipal water source.
